System Management
An extension of PARSEC's telephone support service, we have provided both onsite personnel as well as remote system management services to a variety of clients. Whether a long-term contract or simply satisfying a short-term requirement, PARSEC can provide the quality and quantity of personnel needed to get the job done for you.

PARSEC has managed systems onsite for small and large clients, taken responsibility of coordinating the physical move of large, mission-critical systems (consolidating at a new location), provided continuing backup resources to supplement disaster recovery plans, and more.

Software Development
From device drivers to applications, creation of full applications to debugging troublesome portions of client code, PARSEC has helped provide efficient, reliable programming services to many organizations both nationally and internationally. Our greatest expertise is with C, C++, and macro but also includes BASIC and COBOL as well as assembler languages.

One client wanted a handful of "utility" programs which would automate and enhance several functions related to their application software. PARSEC created code to capture data output by the application in a print format, strip select header information, reformat the data, and send it to a separate database for further processing.

Another client needed top-level program design, coding, and project management expertise to help meet a critical delivery deadline. PARSEC provided onsite expertise in both the U.S. and out of country, leading the only group in a multi-team effort to meet every project target date and quality objective.

Online System Manager (OSM) Software
We ALWAYS like to point out that our internally-developed Online System Manager (OSM) software is an excellent example of our programming skills as well as systems-level expertise.

Although OSM has been a part of PARSEC's service offering for years, it has only been positioned as a product for about a year. Already, many smaller and a few large organizations have implemented OSM. For example:

A major computer manufacturer located in the heart of Silicon Valley has implemented OSM on their entire network of more than 30 development and production systems.

A giant paper manufacturer has implemented OSM at a multi-billion-dollar plant in the southeast. This "mission-critical" environment consists of a handful of large computers networked with more than 20 process-control systems, all running OSM to maintain maximum uptime.
