OpenVMS SYSTEM AND NETWORK NODE  MANAGEMENT I

This course provides introductory training for  system managers of established VAX or Alpha computers or OpenVMS Cluster systems running the OpenVMS operating system. This system may be part of a larger network or cluster.

  • Identify various OpenVMS Configurations

  • Describe characteristics of an OpenVMS Cluster System

  • Describe the characteristics of a network and list basic network management tasks

  • Describe OpenVMS software concepts

  • Use terminal I/O to communicate with user

  • Use symbols as variables and parameters
